Black History Month Brunch

My girlfriend and I usually go to brunch every Sunday. I have researched all of the local places in LA that have all you can drink champagne and will be posting more of my favorite spots. But for now I'm going to share with you Tam O'Shanter's which is one of my 1st brunches and still probably my favorite places to go for my Sunday morning fix.

Eating the emergency supplies

Well I ran out of the house today and forgot my lunch, none of the employees decided to bring treats or anything today and Im broke as fuck. So I decide to raid the emergency earthquake supplies under my desk. Let’s see what we have here: Mainstay 3600 Food Ration (9-400cal food bars). The things you will resort to when starving.

Upon opening, I break me off a piece of yellow gold. The texture and taste is like a really thick sugar cookie with a hint of lemon. This mother was about an inch+ thick. I only ate one cube. It satisfied my hunger and wasn’t the worst thing in the world although I don’t know if I would want to survive off these things for a couple days or god forbid weeks. I think i'll shop around for something a little more tasty for our emergency kit.

Barcelona On The Go

Well I made it out to my favorite liquor store to check out the Barcelona On The Go roach coach in the parking lot.  Upon arrival guess what I find, you guessed it, a huge line YAY!

Sharkeez Brunch = Rad

I woke up this morning with a strong desire for brunch which can only mean Sharkeez in downtown HB. I means it's only $3.75, how can you go wrong. The douchebags usually don't come out till later at night, so its mainly locals and older folk.

We started with the free chips and salsa bar & mimosas. The mimosas will get you fucked up fast.

Food Trucks Hit the Streets of Orange County

I'm really excited about this, I mean Jewish Deli on a truck has to = AWESOME. This new food truck trend is very interesting and I hope its a trend that sticks around for a while. I'm going to try and get over to Hi-Times parking lot in Costa Mesa tomorrow to check out the Barcelona On the Go truck. They will be serving a couple dishes from 3-8pm. If the lines aren't crazy as fuck then I report back with my findings. Tits!
